Congrats on your success with the petition and I wish you the best.
ReplyDeleteA pretty poppy indeed!
Uh, I'm not sure you are aware of this but the WWF is actually a bunch of folks that support hunting, you can learn more about them here (http://wickedwildlifefund.com/abuse.html). I don't get the impression that you agree with the notion of killing animals for fun. I wasn't sure I believed the website I linked above but I emailed WWF and they responded that yes they do support hunting...they called it "conservation"...I'm now fairly convinced that when you see "conservation" linked to animals that is double-talk for killing animals for fun or "sport".
I had to comment on that lovely photo of a pink poppy, and the glorious picture of the Old Man of Storr. You have such talent for photography!
ReplyDeleteI see from your profile that you are interested in Scotland and traveling! Have you checked out my blog yet?

I’m working my way from the north of Great Britain to the south through pictures. You’ll see photographs of glorious vistas, charming close-ups, delicious recipes and interesting tidbits of life in Great Britain for the pleasure of Scotophiles everywhere!
Hi Abby,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your beautiful feedback. If you want to view more of my landscape photos, here's a link to my site, http://www.wix.com/micol_kates/lanscape-photography. Lucky you, to be travelling at this time of year through that beautiful part of the world. I went to your blog of Britain, it looks like fun. Thanks for the comment, and the link:)
Hi Veganelder,
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog, and no, I had no idea that WWF supported "conservation" killing. I suppose that means that are in support of the current bear murders taking place across Canada and the States?
Thank you for the information, both here, and in your well-informed blog. Also, thanks very much for your kind words about my photography:)
