When I hear of something like this, my mind immediately races towards wondering what kind of life that imprisoned animal had. What kind of sufferings they've endured that caused them to ultimately snap and do anything, desperately, to escape. It's beyond me why anyone would ever think, "Oh, look at this beautiful being. Let's enslave this individual and make a profit at their expense!"
